I ordered my Weekend Warrior in 1996. It had to be specially ordered because at the time I only had a 1/2 ton truck, and wanted to haul a full size Jeep. Mark at Weekend Warrior and his team went out of there way to engineer a unit that would work. They basically built the trailer around the Jeep. The chassis, axles, tires and wheels all had to be upgraded. The back door also had to be lengthened to seven ft. tall, which cut out the standard rear loft window. They then had to design a new loft bed that uses a scissors action rather than the standard fixed version. They also had to lengthen the throw on the scissors to lift the bed to the ceiling to clear the Jeep. Then so nobody would get claustrophobic we added two small windows to the sides of the loft area. I then had them bump up the fresh water tanks to hold 120 gallons. We then added duel batteries, duel LPG tanks and stabilizer jacks in the rear. Of course inside amenities are fully self-contained, including rest room, shower, air conditioning and a full kitchen. Two dinettes/couch combos also make into two twin beds or convert into a queen. There is a full queen size bed in the loft, and we usually throw another queen size air mattress down below the loft. Once getting the trailer home, I then installed an enclosed air compressor. Then plumed it to both sides and the rear of the trailer with quick connects. We bring plenty of 500w lights and two more 55g water barrels. Its a great setup for Desert, Dunes and Beach dry camping. We also do a great deal of camping following the Sprint car racing circuit. Now that I have a larger capacity truck I'm going to have a larger unit built.
